Why Speaking With Natural Intelligence Is As Challenging As Ever

I've seen social media posts that are well-formed, well-thought of, and intelligently curated. They are sensible, logical, and believable. And because of this, sometimes, people question these kinds of posts, whether they were AI-generated or not. Truth is, long before artificial intelligence existed, people have been capable of expressing thoughts in an explanatory and eloquent manner. Some may be in simple terms and easy to understand, and some may contain words of highly intellectual levels. At any rate, they both exist and have been written time and again by humans.

Nowadays, though, the same manner of writing can easily be questioned by anyone, whether it was written by a human or by AI. And it's because of these factors that what we write can instantly be questioned as to whether it was authentic and written personally or generated by an AI prompt. It causes me to think about how to easily convince people that they truly are reading my words and my thoughts.

At first, I thought that since AI aims for accuracy and perfection, doing the opposite would lead one to think that the written content is not AI-generated. It can work, but then, you would be sacrificing your intellectual integrity and knowledge for the sake of sounding non-AI. It may not be worth it. The other option would be to purposely type erroneous spelling or punctuation, or, much worse, to use verbs and adjectives improperly, basically sacrificing your grammar. This may mistake you for being ignorant of basic language skills rather than being a non-AI-written piece of content. Not a good reflection on your education.

Our best option is to keep writing in our own original tone and voice. People who have known us can verify our true and authentic manner of speaking from experience. It's their personal knowledge and history conversing with us or reading our written works that automatically verifies our authenticity without the need for an AI detection scanner. That's great! However, when speaking to the rest of the world who don't know you, your tone, your background, or your personality, they may not be able to automatically detect this. So, think of the situation. If they ran your text through an AI detector to check if a human wrote it, what do you think the result would be?

And this is the very challenge even for those who speak in their most authentic and most natural way, as artificial intelligence has caught up to mimic sounding very much like natural intelligence.
